THE LODGE
The Southbound Lodge was built in 2001, and offers serene and comfortable rooms
with majestic views of Virginia’s unmatched landscape. When you're a guest
at Southbound, your stay will include all the service and amenities of a fine
bed and breakfast, but with the relaxed atmosphere of your own home.
And since your party will be our only guests during your stay, you'll
enjoy the privacy and freedom of having the Southbound Lodge and our breathtaking preserve all to yourselves.
After a day of outdoor adventure, you'll return home to the comfort of the Lodge;
enjoy your favorite beverage, soothe your muscles in our spacious hot tub,
and share stories around
the fireplace. In the evening, gather around the Great Room table for a game of poker, or catch the
ballgame or a movie on our widescreen HDTVs.
All of your needs will be well attended by our staff during your stay, so you
can relax and enjoy the company of your party. You'll
be treated to premier lodging, and enjoy outstanding meals (traditional and Southern fare),
which of course includes finely prepared game birds from the
day's hunt.
If you're looking to mix business with pleasure, our facilities are perfect
for entertaining your clients or hosting an intimate business retreat. The
Lodge is equipped with a computer, internet connections, and plenty of space for a
relaxed meeting or negotiation.
